Stage 2: Testing

During Stage 2, the group decided to test the assumptions made during the brainstorm.

 

First, a mixture made of 1 part honey, 1 part water, 2 parts glycerin and 2 parts gelatin was tested for similarity to consistency to brain tissue. The results proved that this mixture would be adequate in producing accurate results when moving forward with the experiment.

 

Next, a skull was constructed in the method outlined during the brainstorm using strong paper mache and reinforcement techniques. Again, this structure proved adequate in producing results when moving forward with the experiment.
